Rugisms, A Deeper Understanding of What the Heck Ruge is Saying

Rugisms - The words and/or actions that emanate from the character Ruge.

Well, with that definition, I will post a Rugism once in awhile So when I say something, no one is like, "What the F@ck did he say?".

Just like those "thoughts of ruge" book?

Group Exclusion or Exclusion Group - Refers to an individual asking to have someone "group" said individual so as not to have others join their fights uninvited.

The individual does not wish to join group for any other purposes other than to exclude others from his/her fights.

Example:

Ruge: I need a group exclusion plz
*Manbas invites Ruge to Group*
Ruge: Tnx Manbas. This way noobs won't come into my fights uninvited while I am in this dung.

Tag along - Is a term used to define joining others for the purpose of leveling, hunting and dungeon expeditions. It is also used for the purpose of replacing the word leeching (which has an altogether negative connotation).

Example:

Lorthan: I'm going to the Gobbal Dungeon today.
Ruge: Do you mind if I "tag along"?

Dude - This word is used by Ruge to simply name someone in a familiar and freindly tone. This word is unisex and can therefore be used for males and females alike. The word "dude" can also refer to an unpleasant or surprising event.


Example 1:

Htomeht: Hi guys!
Ruge: Dude, I just finished getting what you asked me for.
Htomeht: Really? Tnx!


Example 2:

Falira: Congratulate me ppl, I'm pregnant with triplets!
Ruge: DUDE!!

Howdy - A salutation used in reply to a salutation or just to say hello to someone.


Example:

Tyrak: Hi guild!
Manbas: Hi!
Kerhaat: hello
Azuren: Hey
Ruge: Howdy

Flanking - An in battle (usually PvP) collector defense term used to describe an action done by Ruge whereas it seems that he is running away, but what he is really doing is moving back away from the action, moving to the sides of the enemy and hitting them with the surprise Ruge attack. It seems that this procedure is so well used by Ruge that not even his own team-mates know or understand it, and in any case Ruge dies in the process.


Guild: The collector Brime Do'Ien is being attacked [5-12]

*Tyrak, Gwolk, Onlyhope, Manbas, Lorthan and Ruge defends Perc*
*Everyone opens their first strike attack*
*Ruge seemingly jumps and runs away from the main battle action*

Tyrak: Ruge are you running away?!?
Ruge: No dude, I'm going to flank them.
Manbas: ??
Ruge: keep them busy...

*Ruge moves to the far left or right of the screen and starts coming in from the sides*
*Enemy opponent sees this*
*Ruge prepares to "Let loose the dogs of war" against the enemy opponent*
*Oppenent summarily kills Ruge without a thought and returns his/her focus to the main battle action*
*In that brief moment of distraction, the opponent is weakened by allied players and is destroyed, thus saving the collector*

Guild: The collector Brime Do'Ien was attacked, but is pulling through nicely.
Gwolk: Ruge, you are totally useless.
Ruge:

Tyrak doesnt say "hi guild" its more like "WTF, no one defends percs here?"

Hardcore - Anything directly or indirectly pertaining to an action done or resembling an aggresive move by Karkask. To be called "Hardcore", one must be the most aggresive person attacking a mob of maybe a half-dozen or more and winning. Any other person being called hardcore is most probably doing an aggressive action similar to one that Karask would do.

This word was first used at Wabbit Castle when Karkask decided to attack 3 or 4 wobots and several other creatures at once....He lived, they died.

I'm Bored - Is a term used in an almost near desperate attempt by Ruge to find something to do with someone. This term is more used as a call for companionship in an endeavor than it is in stating a fact.


Example:

*Ruge stands in the Bonta Bank looking at the people pass by and make their transactions*
*Ruge realizes that him standing there is unproductive*
*Ruge decides that he needs to do something*

Ruge: I'm bored.

*Ruge quietly waits to see if his call is heeded*

Abstractbuffalo: Hey fella, ya want to hunt some PC's with me?
Ruge: Sure!!

*Ruge's call has been answered, and he is once again a productive member of the guild*

What's Your 20? - An expression used to inquire upon one's position or location.

Ruge uses this so often at work, he wrongly assumes the rest of the world knows it as well.


Example:

Ruge: Xenus, I have 20 Royal Gobbal Wool that I need to give you to put in the guild chest.
Xenus: Ok, give it to me.
Ruge: What's your 20?
Xenus: Bonta bank.
Ruge: I'll be right there.

Peace - An expression used to bestow farewell upon someone. It is an abbreviated form of saying, "Peace be with you, on your many travels as you leave me here behind while you live a long and exciting life away from me being happy and successful." or something along those lines.


Example:

Raphix: I'm tired. I'm going now. cya
Falira: bye
Onlyhope: bb =D
Dzeris: Take care
Ruge: Peace

STFU!!! - Is usually misunderstood as the general expression, "Shut The Fuck UP!". However, this assumption is incorrect. When the term is used by Ruge, it is used as surprise or incredulousness. It basically means, "Shit, That's Fucking Unbelievable!!!".

Example:

Raphix: Guys, you won't believe it, but I just got 5.9 million xp on a 10 minute fight!
Lorthan: Really?
Ruge: STFU!!!
Manbas: Wow!

Guild Chat Off - An expression used when under extreme duress, confusion or lagging. It also signifies that anyone in the group that also belongs in the same guild, monitors any messages that may be directed to the person who has used the expression.


Example:

Guild Chat....
Puflius: Anyone got any sapphire stones?
Manbas: I may have a couple.
Cyborg-LT: How much you got?
Xenus: I got some stones for you Puf.

Battle Group Chat...
*Ruge is fighting for his life, and not doing so well.*
Ruge: Guild chat off
Lidija: ok

Beware the Iop-Eaters - An expression used mainly in the Blop Dungeon upon entering which mainly refers to the monster: Glutoblop. Ruge, who has an insanely nerve racking and irrational fear of these creatures, uses the expression to not only warn others of the Glutoblops, but to also advise them to do research on the Glutoblops so as not to be eaten by them.
The Iop-Eaters are refered this way due to the sad image of the poorly half digested iop that sits in their fetid stomach.

"The Stuff" - is a term that is vainly used to make one's self seem mysterious and alluring. It is loosely used to ask or give someone a certain item in which they wish that no one else knows about.
It is also a thinly disguised attempt to covertly talk about an item to which no one else will make an uninvited request for.

Ruge: Holy?
Holy-Bramble: Yeah?
Ruge: You got "The stuff"? *referring to gobbal keys*
Holy-Bramble: Yeah I got "The stuff".
Ruge: Where can we meet up?
Holy-Bramble: Meet me at the astrub bank.
Ruge: k
Abstractbuffalo: What are you guys talking about?
Ruge: Oh nothing.
Holy-Bramble: We were talking?!?
