join to the council

hello council
i wanted to ask if i could join to the council.
i think im enough long in the guild and u c that i like this guild really
so i want to help perculators with decidings and so on

I have mixed feelings about the council,

1. I think the coucil should be a small group
2. It isn't fair to the others who are not in the council but long time in guild, but wants a "word" in the guild.
3. When are u able to join the council?

My feelings are not at all mixed.
I think the council presents us with a problem.

Noone has chosen the council. The council has chosen it self.
On top of this it seems that the council is somewhat secret and there is no real insight into what it even does.

I dont really mind to have a select few make a few choises but I really cant see what good it does our guild.

What does the council do? I am in it and it is inactive. At first we started out making decisions like the criteria for new members, perc boosts votes, criteria for when an inactive member is booted from guild. Now we don't do anything. I think if you have a suggestion for the guild you should talk about it in guild chat and/or post it here. I personally feel the guild should vote for the boost points not the council.

I also have a general comment/request to make:
Please do not conspire negatively. This guild has not changed since "real ares" has not been playing as much. We are still strong and are growing stronger by the day. We don't worship a leader in this guild.

1. Council decisions are posted always at this forum.

2. Council decisions are made by a majority vote of council members which should be visible for all guild members.

3. Council ideas should be posted here and submitted for a vote if seconded by a another council member.

4. Council members should consist of five members who were voted upon and majority elected by guild members. Elegibility should depend on standing in the guild, time in the guild, quantity of xp given to the guild. I believe that only one character per person should be elegible to become a council member.

5. Council members retain their position for 6 months until new votes are conducted.


These are my suggestions....

I believe I am in the council...but since I don't play that much anymore, I've only made one decision so far regarding the guild.

Voting isn't that good since we can't have everyone sign on at the same time. But this guild is for everyone...and everyone should have a say.
